Shira Karsen is a double-jointed, carb-loving, east-coaster obsessed with the Sunday New York Times and all things Bravo-related. She’s a seasoned creative + content consultant who has worked for world-renowned companies in wellness and entertainment, most notably AG1, OLLY, RMS Beauty, Thrive Market, Sephora, Billboard, and Refinery29, and has spearheaded some preeettty cool projects, including founding Billboard Style—the site’s first-ever hub for lifestyle, beauty, and style news—concepting and executing Sephora’s first-ever Beauty Insider campaign, and interviewing Stevie Wonder…live.
She’s produced countless videos, including customer-awareness bits for Sephora’s Beauty Insider loyalty program, Thrive Live, a wellness-centric series featuring industry experts, and Rock the Look, a social-based celebrity makeup tutorial series featuring influencers and celebrity makeup artists (we’re talking the likes of Manny MUA and RiRi’s glam squad).
She’s also lead some killer campaigns—just ask her about it!
Shira earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Journalism and the other in Studio Art, from American University in Washington, D.C. She has interned at teenVOGUE, Vanity Fair, Washington Life Magazine, Refinery29, and ArtSee. Shira currently resides in sunny Los Angeles with her tabby cat Louie, toothless rescue dog Norman, and far too many belongings.
